  • Fun app-keeps freezing

I've had this app for about a week and it is fun. I love designing the rooms and seeing what kind of rating I get, but the app keeps freezing when I am trying to arrange my room. Then I have no choice but to exit out of the app. Then when I go back into the app, I have to start my room all over again and it's just a bit irritating.
  • Addictive game but needs improvements

This game is beautifully designed and addicting. I love being able to style different rooms and creating gorgeous spaces. It’s like playing The Sims but just with the design portion with real life furniture and designs. However, There are a few issues which I feel would make game play better and will keep people engaged longer: 1. There needs to be more daily challenges. Once you’ve completed them for the day, there is nothing left to do but vote - and that is no fun honestly. There’s a long waiting period between finishing the challenges and waiting for the results and new challenges to appear. It makes the game dull and boring and for this reason makes it not worth my time to continue playing if I can’t get more game time out of it. 2. There needs to be more ways to earn diamonds/cash. I don’t want to - and I’m sure others don’t want to either - spend so much of my real cash on this game just to be able to buy more furniture and objects. Maybe have a daily spin the wheel to win some prizes or have mini challenges in between the major ones. 3. I am meticulous about designing a “modern” living room or a “luxe” bedroom when it calls for it - even when they only require one object to be such style for that room. But I noticed a lot of others don’t follow the concept when it calls for a certain style. I see rustic and coastal being incorporated into modern, or industrial when it asks for contemporary, etc. There should be a points system based on how well the player actually decorates and designs a room with what the initial description asks for. I’m sure others find it frustrating when they follow what the description asked for but are only scoring 3 or 4 stars consistently without getting the top prize. Which leads me to my next.. 4. Their should be other prizes!! Maybe starting at 3 stars, you could win a small amount of extra cash (not just the cash you get for completing a challenge), then gradually increase the prizes as you get each star. And if you’re going to make it difficult for people to get 5 stars then I think the prize should be bigger. More diamonds. Another furniture piece. Something. With all that being said, I don’t think I will continue playing the game because it does not seem worth it to continue. There is not enough game play available, and the rewards seem minimal despite how difficult it is to actually get 5 stars. Improvements need to be made in order for me to continue playing.
  • Love this game but...

I love this game. It is supper fun and I enjoy getting to go design rooms. But there will be times where I’ll bye a piece of furniture in the app and it won’t show up. I would use the piece for multiple designs and then I’ll go to use it again but it isn’t in my inventory. It is very frustrating. I don’t know if it is a glitch or if you have to repurchase items after you use them a certain amount of times, either way it is annoying and want it to be fixed.

  • Good but not Great

I want to be an interior designer when I grow up. So I was super excited to download this app! I did and it’s great I love the challenges I love the levels and how you get at least 500 diamonds each day. But if you use a furniture a certain amount of times you can use it anymore and have to rebuy. I’ve had to buy the same rug over 2 times :( To enter a challenge which you pretty much have to you have to use keys each time you enter a challenge you have to us 25 keys. And if you run out either you use diamonds to buy more or vote which take along time. This app is just okay.
  • Fun, but...

I love playing Design Home. But, I echo what others have said; many "wins" don't match the criteria listed. I suppose 12 year olds play and vote for the prettiest room. I am pretty tired of that black and white rug with the circular pattern always winning. In reality, I doubt that many people would want that rug in their home. I don't enjoy designing children's rooms at all. I usually end up spending about $5 per week or so for more diamonds. I chalk it up to having fun, but I'd rather the allotment of diamonds be more generous or the extras for the rooms be a little cheaper.
  • Fun Game.... however

I love this game. But you when you design a room you lose the things you owned, forcing you to spend actual money to stay in the game. It would be more fun for me if instead of losing your items for good they get returned after a challenge ends. But for those who don’t mind paying to play, this is a great game.
  • No customer service

The game is fun, but there is no customer service nor support at all. You will never get a reply when you have a problem not receiving the free diamonds after you complete offers or download and play other partner games, which happens at least 50% of the time. Of course, they prefer you actually spend money instead of getting things for free, so they really don’t care. And once you purchase an item, you can only use it 3-5 times and then you lose it. If you want it again, you have to buy it again. It’s a shame because the game stimulates creativity and it can even be considered therapeutic.
  • First off I love it!

I initially downloaded the app because I thought it was something else. But I kept it because I love it. It is so much fun and I don’t go a day without getting on it and that’s saying something because I do not have any “games” on my phone. The fact that I haven’t deleted it is saying something. I’ve had it for about a month. Anyway I wanted to leave a review because I wanted to suggest a couple things that I think could make the game even better. 1. The option to do a price low to high. With all the options you have to narrow down the collection,a price low to high would help a ton when your trying to get the best bang for your buck. 2. Also the option to choose to narrow it down to only the furniture pieces that can be paid with cash or diamonds. Sometimes you don’t have a lot of diamonds so it’d be easier to get rid of all the furniture that you can’t even buy. Sometimes you don’t have a lot of cash but have some diamonds stored up. It would just be convenient. 3. Being able to preview more than just two things that you don’t own. How am I supposed to know if all this looks good together if I don’t buy something first. It has happened when I’ve bought an item and didn’t end up using it because it didn’t look right with everything else. 4. More ways to earn money. I am constantly running out of cash. Because cash is never a prize. And you have to keep buying items because you only get them for like 5 uses. So I was thinking that if you voted enough to get all 75 keys you could get a 500$ bonus. That way people would vote more and you could enter more designs because you could pay for the certain items the requirements call for. Also another way too earn money is getting like 250$ if you voted for the top designs or even the #1 top design. I hope the game designers see this because I really think it would make the game soooooo much better. Anyway I love this game!

I instantly got hooked...love this game and spent a good amount of $$ playing! You really need to have more challenges through the day, I think that would benefit you and would make you more money! I think you give us a challenge about every 5 hours, when a challenge ends....way too long. Shorten the time that a challenge is open...maybe 1 day for each one and you could give more challenges! The rewards need to be higher and more ways to earn cash and/or gems.
