  • Love the app, hate the hassle

I love this app but I hate the hassle of trying to get my money back after purchasing diamonds. I unfortunately have had over 5 problems with purchasing and it not loading. APPLE has been great, they gave me an email address to send my frustration to and gave me a credit to my account. But the address I was given doesn’t seem to be a good email. I want the makers to update this so others don’t have the same run around. I’ve been able to get all of my money back except this last time I want the maker to help me. Other than this problem I love the game. It’s addicting and relaxing. I NEVER spend money in a gaming app but I do on this one. As long as you don’t spend your own money, OR they fix this. It’s 2 1/2 Stars. If or when it’s fixed I would give it more stars!
  • This game is probably one of my favorite games I’ve come across in years.

Design Home definitely has its drawbacks, though. When I go to purchase a 1.99 package of the diamonds, I somehow get charged 2.99 every time. It has caused some issues, but I never really bothered to do anything about it because it’s a few dollars and I chose to buy diamonds on a game for my phone, lol. So be aware of that. My only other complaint is the lack of in game sounds. There is no clicking sounds, or background sounds. You only notice after you’re designing a room in complete silence for 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Voting seems unfair.

I use to love this game. So much that I would buy diamonds because I really enjoyed doing the designs. And since they make it almost impossible to decorate with the tiny amount of diamonds they give you I didn’t really have a choice. But lately the voting seems so unfair. Rooms that I’ve spent lots of money on and decorated beautifully aren’t even getting 4 stars while junk mismatched designs are getting 5. The voting seems completely unfair. I’m done spending another penny on this game. They should really consider a diamond increase for daily rewards and 4 and 5 star wins.

Love the game overall. Complaint: people don’t follow the design criteria and end up winning the overall challenge. Also, the art plays a huge part in the design and shouldn’t be limited to levels.
  • Love this game but stingy with rewards!

I really do love this game and I look forward to playing everyday but I do hope someone is reading these reviews. Daily rewards should be increased. $500 barely covers a pouf. Furnishings and decor should be available for $, not diamonds, and there should be a lot more to choose from. Waiting to level-up to get two more paintings is soooooo tedious! Why is it such slim pickins? Four-star scores should earn diamonds. This would help your furniture advertisers because we'd all be shopping more instead of using the same pieces over and over again. (Suggestion for a future update: Let us pick colors for an accent wall or floor?) And real life is not full of white couches. It just isn't. I find the five-star leader boards a bit silly because they are all white furniture every time! I would love to share this game with friends because it's so much fun but I don't because they'd think I was crazy if they knew how much real money I've spent! Please consider lowering the prices and you'll attract more players. This really is a great game, PLEASE RESPOND TO YOUR REVIEWS--it would be a win-win for all of us! xo

I’ve been using this app for quite a bit. Sometimes it just doesn’t work. My bars are always the same at my home and it’s hit or miss whether things will load. It it very frustrating. It actually doesn’t matter what your signal indicates tbh it will just not load your pieces and games frequently. Please fix this issue. ** Amending my review to say please add more out of the box challenges. The doll house was awesome. Keep it going! Also, ALMOST ANYTHING to do with Tapjoy is a ripoff and not worth the effort.
  • Good App Overall, but...

I do love the game, but I have spent quite a bit of money and my diamonds run quickly because plants, pictures and decorations run out pretty quickly. Without them your room looks incomplete. some of the artwork is hideous! A red picture frame with 80s art? what the heck is that?! yuck! I agree with many other comments... other people are not the complying to the criteria that the challenge dictates. It always seems that black and white rug with a circular pattern wins a five star rating. Why? I also agree many of the prizes are redundant and most likely something I already own or do not need or want. Artwork and accessories available do not always fit my desire design in spacial perception color or style. Maybe a little customization would be nice. I also agree that if I purchase something and then it’s gone before I use all of my 5 uses. I’ve experienced this well. I feel like I am being ripped off! Pretty annoying we have to re-purchase over and over again. Once purchased, I feel like we should be able to have it forever. If you want make a great app, charge $30-$60 upfront, just like a real video game! If this continues to be the way it is I will delete this app and use neyber’s instead. It’s much more customizable, less expensive, and there’s work arounds! Please listen to your users! thank you!

The game is fun however you aren’t given enough diamonds to do anything as everything cost more than what your given. And don’t waste your time on doing the offers because you’ll never get the diamonds and then when you email support they want you to email the ad suppliers to get it fixed and they just want more of your information. Don’t waste money on this game it’s not worth it.
  • Shouldn’t have to spend my own money to play

Would like to actually play this game without the need to spend my own money to complete a challenge. The furniture is so expensive that you can’t really purchase much without adding your own funds and I noticed items that I purchased last week are no longer in my inventory and it shows up as something I would need to buy again. I refuse to pay to play, don’t think I’ll be playing anymore.
