  • Scopely ruined the game

Glitches after glitches and crashes constantly during in game play. When the game crashes you lose everything and never get compensated. Don’t waste your time and especially money this game is destined to fail because of the lack of player appreciation and support along with every other problem it has. Go to Facebook and look at the games page to read what the players really have to say about everything.
  • Good game, but it’s a Money Pit

    By GambitXRemy87
I started playing WWE Champions shortly after it was released. The concept of the game is what makes the gameplay enjoyable. Connect the right combination of colors like Bejeweled, Candy Crush, and other puzzle games to pull off some awesome wrestling moves and win the match. Matches are fun and resources “can be” easy to find, but it takes A LOT of grinding and time to level up your superstars to higher levels. There is one thing Ive appreciated the most about this game since the beginning. UNLIKE OTHER GAMES, THERE ARE NO ENERGY RESTRICTIONS. It’s wonderful to not have to worry about only playing 5 matches, and then have to wait up to an hour before your “energy” is replenished, and you can play 5 more. Because of that, I’m willing to give this game 3 stars. However, I can’t review this game without mentioning the biggest issue, and a cause for some major disappointment. This game is a money pit! A poor excuse for Scopley (and WWE) to make money. Since downloading, I’ve spent somewhere between $100-$150 on this game, but I know friends who have paid over $1000. It’s insane, and I feel it’s the worst part about this game. You WILL NOT succeed in this game without spending money PERIOD. And the only way to join some of the best factions, is to have a team in which a player has paid thousands of dollars for the best superstars and the means to level them quickly. But, now I feel the developers have taken it one-step too far, with the launch/introduction of the VIP subscription program. This game and VIP program is not worth the asking price of $2.99/week or $12.00/month. If that’s not proof that Scopely just wants to steal your money, than I don’t know what is...Think of it this way, a subscription to the WWE Network is only $9.99/month. Save your money and go with the WWE Network...

Fun game, addictive. Started playing with warnings if not spending. Did anyways to get an edge. Their is close to zero value when you do spend. Mind you we are talking up to $99.99 at a time. Swore only a fool would spend that. Slowly got suckered. On top of that the customer service stinks, does not reflect the revenue. Any question or complaint never receives valid response, or resolution. After playing for awhile also have noticed events/awards are always aligned so that only top teams get awarded well. Not trying to say everyone should get a trophy, but to the point of exponential growth.

The game is ok, but freezes, and this crystals start to be rediculous on certain stage - when you have 2x stronger here, and being smashed by enormous quantity of the opponents crystals matches.. so it feels handicapped, forcing you to donate more into the game to obtain higher class heros. But everybody knows thats pure bs marketing crap, which was eaten and pooped a while ago. Make real games, don't compromise such dumb approach, customers are not stupid. Overall I'd you don't donate - can play for a week or 2, as after that it doesn't make sense
  • Disgusting business practices

    By chia chump
It is highly recommended to not spend money on this product. There is no support of their game. If you submit a ticket for ANYTHING, it is ignored for a couple days, then they send back a canned response with little to nothing to do with the inquiry. I am positive this is done to frustrate the client and have them give up. They got too much of my cash, I fell for their BS. They cater to whoever spends the most and their percentages for what you buy to get what you are actually paying for are generally under 1%. I’ve gone to free to play and am happier knowing I’m not giving the scam artists at scopely any more of my hard earned. Good luck if you get the game, it’s very fun and has a good community of players. For those who do and spend money, you’ll find out soon enough.

  • Short version : your money > your satisfaction

I understand they’re a business, and businesses are run to make a profit. That being said Scopely routinely runs events that are pay to win, and this past month (June 2018) they created an event they botched beyond belief and put and out lied in multiple times, changed rules in mid-event, cancelled events, then only awarded the top 5 teams who incidentally spend money like there’s no tomorrow leaving the other 99.999999999% of the players high and dry. Scopely also flagrantly ignores the iOS developers terms for disclosing loot box odds, the game is full of glitches, and then ignore customer complaints on all forms of social media as well as direct contact.
