    I am on my second year of this app.I love the Neuroscience information! The good Dr. Judson Brewer really knows his stuff and his personal intelligence and loving kindness is imbedded throughout the curriculum. The App is well executed and easy to access.

    As a psychologist who also happens to have not the best relationship with food, I tried this app for myself and to possibly recommend. After 28 days I feel like a can let my clients know this this app is a great way to go to improve your relationship with food. Only downside is that it is a bit pricy but there is a lot of content AND the online community and their monitors are very responsive.

    I just completed my first week and am so grateful for how this app tutors me day by day to help develop new eating habits. To be living on autopilot and just doing what my cravings tell me is not how I want to live, and changing behaviors is hard and not a quick fix. I like how the daily lessons build on each other and you can't jump ahead. I love accessing previous lessons (the animations are cool) when I'm confused or struggling.The community is very supportive and you hear personal accounts the make you feel not so alone, and give you hope. I'm looking forward to changing my behaviors over time, I feel more in touch and in control.

    The Eat Right Now program is excellent. I am glad I signed up a month ago and I am looking forward to continuing with it! This has the potential to help me reach goals I have had for years. The community, the facilitators, even the doctors who created and run the program, are all really active, involved and supportive. The practices are sound, too - this isn’t some snake oil stuff, nor is it one giant advertisement for other products. I have seen no pressure to engage in certain dietary restrictions or practices. If you are skeptical, that is fine - there’s a lot of encouragement to experiment and discover what works for you, what’s true for you. Dr. Brewer’s video presentations are very high quality, both for the content of the material and the way the material is presented. It seems to me that a lot of thought and care has been put into what material to present when - I am not the only person who has found that the video of the day was exactly what I needed on that day. His delivery is relaxed, clear, and friendly. The production quality is good, too, with clear video and helpful animations that liven things up. The app, and the technical/design aspects of the program... pretty good. Visually appealing, clean design. I was initially often confused about where I am in the content - how to navigate the community, which tool is which, how to get to specific sections. Getting the hang of it for the most part although I still sometimes close the app when I don’t mean to. The fact that your “journal” is made by replying to a thread over and over... is weird, but workable. The app could use some user testing to catch awkward stuff like that. And there are tiny glitches - using my tablet or phone, I can’t access the “quote” feature, for example. Nothing that makes the app unusable, I just hope development of the app is ongoing. So I would give the program five stars no question, and the app four. Since the program is ultimately the important part, I give it five stars overall.

    And $100 for 6 months is 0.55 cents per day! Science-based, realistic in terms of daily commitment, and most importantly Dr Brewer, truly understands habits and addiction. Thank you Dr Brewer and team🌹
  • Too expensive to tell

    I believe this app can be amazing but I can't really tell, from the little free content (only 4 days), if it can make a difference in my life. Plus, I was particularly looking for community and that is only available via a quite expensive subscription. Perhaps you could find a balance that allows a user to take their time experiencing all features for free, with perks like customization and unlocking unlimited use of features added to the paid version. A version with a one-time purchase rather than a subscription would be welcome too. Otherwise it's like signing up for the gym -- only worth it if you're really ready to commit. And I can't tell from the little free content. Perhaps you could offer different purchase options? I understand how constant access to experts justifies a subscription but many other features don't. (Unrelated: the content that appears before signing up doesn't seem to be accessible afterwards.)

    I can’t access any day past Day 1. Too much going on too. Would prefer an easy simple tool that takes the lead with more guidance and less education. I don’t want to listen to a lecture when I’m struggling.

    Love the app and the program. It's a complete package with lessons, tools and an active forum community for support. Applying mindfulness to eating is helping me have a much better and more joyful relationship to food, and after 3 weeks I've actually already lost 11 lbs, without even exercising. It's really helped me from overeating at every meal.
