iOS App Reviews

  • Really relaxing!

    By BIGK@:🏀#10
The app is nice because it doesn’t require you to have prior knowledge of yoga and it also really helps with your core strength.
  • Great but wish it had an desktop/tv app

    By heylalallama
This is a great app. I love it so far especially the streaks which definitely help motivate me to continue on! It’s also nicely designed and I enjoy using the coaching option. Plus the workout programs are varied so I can do whatever I’m in the mood for. My only issue is the fact that there’s no app for the desktop so I can view it on a bigger screen instead of on my iPhone and when I do try to hook up my iPhone to the tv using the dongle it thinks I’m recording the video on the app and refuses to let me view it on the tv, same thing happened when I tried doing it for my desktop Mac. So for now I have to use my phone :/ if that could be fixed that would be great.
  • Cheaply made and doesn’t work, ever.

    By Diamond Doom
When I first logged on I could not access content without subscribing. I purchased what I thought was a monthly subscription, but I was charged for the entire year (obviously it was an annual subscription). Hopefully they’ve fixed this to not be so confusing now, I signed up a few updates ago. The audio is poorly mixed and they filmed it illegally without permits in my neighborhood. I realize through use that these are the people I caught in my neighbor’s yard, dangerously using my neighbor’s belongings for filming. As a Trapeze artist, I’m not faint of heart when it comes to acro, but as a former instructor I do know safety and would never condone breaking into private property to use somebody’s leisure equipment outside of its recommended confines without permission of the owners. That is insanity. Despite this I figured I’d paid over $100 for it, might as well use it for the year. 100% of the times I try to use the app it crashes at some point. Sometimes I get a black screen, sometimes a session just freezes. When the app does work and I use it, I wear my various monitoring devices which read less than half the calorie burn the app claims to provide. I hate to give a bad review to anybody, but this has become ridiculous.
  • Not worth the money

    By Blisslane
This app had potential but with every update they have taken away valuable features. Support is less than helpful. They have complaints on the FB group but do not listen to customers. Right after my 90 days the app was stripped of the only features left that made this app special. If you’re a beginner to yoga forget about it. They barely explain breathing or how to adjust advance moves. You have to research or use another app to learn correct posture and adjustments to your level. Doing a move incorrectly can injury you. Save your money and get the Gaia app.
  • Don’t do it!!! It robs you!!!!!

    By Lrain85
I was looking it over and seemed like something to try. Even them offering $4.99 a month. I figured hey.. why not try it for a month.. Well apparently they charge you for the full year!! No matter what plan you choose. It should have confirmed that you where paying for a full year at purchase. Your “details” were not clear and completely unfair too charge someone that money who is only looking for app that suits them. Unbelievable... I feel robbed.
  • won’t airplay

    By hdudhskki
Every time I try to airplay to my Apple TV it says to disable screen recording - did not do this before... Did something change??
  • Not $5 a month.

    By Blah2248658
I downloaded the app and it’s limited access unless you subscribe. It says it’s only $5 a month, but what they don’t say it that it’s not monthly! They will charge you $60 for the year. I didn’t want to pay for the whole year. I wanted to test it out a month before making that big of a commitment.
  • Asana Rebel is focusing on the wrong things!

    By KassandraValentineJones
Update: STILL AWFUL!!! I tried to ask for my money back but they said it’s too late... my coach videos will NOT load :( I am heart broken. Idk what to do. You are better off just using YouTube channel for yoga than this BS... please avoid at all costs. It’s dandy and fine when you are using the free workouts. When you go Pro... that’s when everything goes down. Different glitches and BORING WORKOUTS. yes I said boring because they NEVER CHANGE. it’s just the basic moves with fancier names like “highland warriors” but it’s just like a lunge. PLEASE AVOID PAYING AT ALL COSTS. just use it for free. Old review: Their colorful and vibrant design was fun and lovely, until they changed the outlook to black and white; while there’s nothing wrong with simple colors but neon was fine.. I’m sure that’s not the biggest concern of their users.. after trying the app for a month, I decided to go premium; while I expected more from the subscription, I was deeply disappointed by the singularity of the workouts. The “premium” workouts really lack diversity and challenges. I wish they could incorporate more move in the coach programs, to challenge its users to wanna come back for more! But I’m stuck with a yearly subscription for now so I will still use it and see how it changes.
  • Yoga made simple

Really easy going, professional and to the point exercises.
  • Love this app!

    By Hotsemomii
I love this app. Everything about it. I do the daily flow then whichever workout is featured that day. My only wish is that it could be progressive without having to subscribe but I get why you have to. Subscription is not in my budget so I'll stick with what I get. That was apparently my review a few months ago that I must not have submitted. My opinion has changed. Within several updates they have gotten rid of the rotating daily workouts (aside from the 5 minute flow), which is fine because they still offer a select few workouts for free. I just liked when they randomly posted one. Now, with this last update it will no longer let me mirror from my phone onto my tv. That is VERY disappointing.
