  • Fantastic for new owners!

I have had the responsibility of training my dog for the last 4 years. My brother is new to it all, but I can’t help him train his dog most of the time (stupid work😅) and after a bit of searching I found this app and it’s really helped him when I can’t. It’s wonderful! I do wish you could pick the commands you find most important to train first, but the system it has now works just fine:)
  • For the basics

The app was really helpful in managing your dog, feeding reminders and so on but after your dog learns sit, down, shake, house training, and kennel training it costs money.

  • Great and handy

Basic, logical lessons but it comes in handy when teaching your dog new tricks or bette behavior. I use this to keep tabs on what she’s learned and what’s next. 5 stars no reason to give it anything less
  • Horrible

Don’t bother downloading I was looking for something to help me with my puppy but all that was in the app you can find doing a google search; leave your phones memory for something else

"Pooch" is a great app. I've seen quite a bit of Law Enforcement and MWD training. I recently picked up another young dog and decided I'd try this out. Basically, I'm using MWD commands along with the tips/tricks supplied by the app and the results are phenomenal and my young pup is learning remarkably fast. Keep in mind, executing a command 10/10 times does NOT mean your little pup is an expert, however he/she may be ready to move on to a new command. It's important to keep in mind that the 10 time rule that the app recommends is to be used AFTER your fuzzy pal has learned a command. For example, teach "sit" using the tips supplied by the app. Then, just like in school, test after your dog has learned. Once he/she has executed your command 10/10 times without being coerced they're ready to move on. Highly recommended for new dog owners.
  • Great and Informative

Taught my 4 month old pup how to sit in less than a day. This app is informative and has really helped me to learn the best way to train my puppy! I do wish you could choose what to teach next instead of having limited options until you've taught what is shown, but other than that it's great.
  • Nice but

The app is really helpful for learning new tricks, but the ten times thing doesn't do the trick. My new blue heeler duke is very gets distracted by all of our horses and cows. But that's the only problem.
  • So far it's pretty good

I have been using the Pooch app for about two weeks and so far my pup is doing great with it. I have no idea how to train a dog and this gives me at least some guidance on how to go about it.
