Automatically track your sleep from your Apple Watch*. No buttons to press. Even the Watch app is optional! Just sleep! About AutoSleep ----------------- Using Advanced Heuristics AutoSleep works out how long you've slept so you don't have to. If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning once you unlock your iPhone. Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple. If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply put your Watch on charge just before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping. A handy Today Widget lets you see how your own "batteries" are charged for last night and the previous seven days. A second (entirely optional) widget lets you also track the time you have taken to fall asleep. As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper. If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis. *Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping. AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health. *Requires Apple Watch running Watch OS 3.2 or higher.   • Not good for restless sleepers

    I’ve tweaked and tweaked and adjusted settings and it just doesn’t work for restless sleepers. There are times it says I was awake for an hour when I know it was only a couple of minutes. After a couple of weeks there were 0 nights that looked right to me.

    I’d give this app 5/5, but I feel it’s instructions are lacking. The app is simple and meant to be dummy-proof. Hence, scarce instructions. The problem is that it’s not as simple as it’s designers intend, and a little additional explication and info would benefit the user. They do respond to questions quickly, however, so I think any problems you could have would be quickly resolved.

    I have to admit it's getting better, at first I found the app clunky, now it has been refined and much easier to adjust. Truth is I have never read the "Help" section in detail but much of the app is intuitive. I will admit that I don't like big update as it throws off my stats but as apps go this is a good one. I used JAWBONE a few years and devoured about 6 wrist bands $$$$. This app has more information, more options, at about 2% of the price of one band. Very nice addition to HeartWatch. The "Legend" is a great improvement as well. This app is great when I travel because it keeps me honest, I get tired because I get off rhythm and my sleep pattern suffers. Problem with time changes, the time changes (say 9 Hour differences) are not locked in and once returned to base (home) it all goes amiss. Also, like most of Apples updates, some things improve and some, well need improvement again. Good refinement! Thank you for sticking with a good concept and helping it flower. I have written to the developer a couple of times, they always respond (I worry for their sleep), and fixes are a priority for these dedicated magicians. I use the information as a map for guidance, not for absolute data knowledge, for that you would need to wear your watch around your entire head. Yahoooo for this program.

    Goes beyond just how long you were asleep and if it was light or deep sleep. This app tracks your average heart rate throughout, measures the quality of your sleep compared to how long you slept, and so much more! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It’s honestly worth the money
  • Great-should be built into Apple Watch

    I was disappointed that the Apple Watch doesn’t don’t have native sleep tracking (like my old FitBit did). This app solves that and is worth the $4 I paid. The data is comprehensive and clearly communicated, and it works well with the health app (which should have this capability built in).

    Find sleep tracker to be a very useful tool to evaluate my sleep patterns. I find it valuable to help with my overall health. It encourages me to try to get more sleep by knowing how much or how little I’m sleeping. I have recommended it to others.

    I check the app every morning. It gives great feedback and some surprises. Something interesting: I lost some weight and noticed that my nightly avg heart rate went down by about 10-15 bpm. Without the sleep app, I would not have realized this this great side benefit of weight loss. Also, I noticed a dramatic difference in the amount and continuity (several hours in a row) of DEEP sleep I got when my husband was away on vacation and I was sleeping alone. Time for him to get his own room/bed. Haha.

    I love this app. Being that I’m a night owl, it helps me be mindful of what time I actually get in bed. I like to look back and see why I feel the way I do (good or bad) during the day.
  • Good app. A little confusing to navigate

    Great app. Love that it tells me when I fall asleep and what my heart rate is. Let’s me know when I’m in a deep sleep which is great. Only thing is it can be kinda confusing to navigate through the app. Haven’t quite figured everything out yet but It does it’s job.
