Jabra Sound+ iOS App Details

The Jabra Sound+ app is the perfect companion for your Jabra headphones* – adding extra features and letting you personalize the way you use your Jabra device. Choose your voice assistant, customize music profiles, modify how much of your surroundings you want to hear (or block out), keep track of your battery charge, and much more.** • An app experience that’s made for you Today we use our headphones more than ever before, and in very different environments – at work, while on the train, in calls, working out, walking, driving, etc. The settings you use depend on the situation you’re in, and what you’re looking to achieve. To help you with this, we created “Moments” – predefined settings for different situations. With future updates the app will continue to evolve, constantly delivering new features that will enhance your experience. • ANC for blocking ambient noise With our ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) you reduce the amount of disruptive noise you hear from your surroundings. It’s perfect for when you want to block out the world around you and focus on what matters most.** • Personalize your music Customize your sound with the advanced 5-band equalizer, fine-tuning your music to just the way you like it. Need more bass? Quickly and easily boost the low frequencies for that extra kick. • Hear what’s around you Adjust how much of the outside world you’d like to hear when using your headphones. Our HearThrough feature is perfect if you want to be aware of what’s happening around you. • Superior call experience Modify your call settings so that they suit your preferences. Use the sidetone feature to adjust how much of your own voice you want to experience on a call – making sure that what you hear sounds comfortable and natural. Use the call equalizer to tweak difficult connections and make sure you always have a superior call experience. • Battery power Keep track of your headphones’ battery charge with a simple, visual indicator in the app. And if you use the Jabra Elite 65t or the Jabra Elite Active 65t and you’re low on battery, just put the earbuds into their portable charging case and they start charging automatically. • Wireless updates Keep your headphones updated with the latest firmware. Simply use the wireless update feature available directly in the app – there’s no need to plug your headphones into your computer. Do everything seamlessly from the app, and always have the latest firmware powering your calls and music. • Activity tracking Track your activity progress, directly inside the app (only available for the Jabra Elite Active 65t). • 2-year warranty Register your headphones using the Jabra Sound+ app and activate your 2-year warranty (against damage from water and dust). With just a few quick taps, you take care of registration and have peace of mind – no paper and postage required. • An ever-evolving app experience The Sound+ app will continue to evolve, enabling new functionality for your headphones with every update. Today’s feature-rich Jabra experience will become even richer in the future. • App text languages supported English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional) * Currently only available for Jabra Elite 65t, Jabra Elite Active 65t. ** Certain features, such as ANC, depend on which Jabra headphones you have.

  • Underwhelming equalizer adjustments

    By Jxpple
The app does what it entitles, however the adjustments that you can make to the equalizer in app pales in comparison to Jaybird. I would love to see more adjustments when it comes to the equalizer. Otherwise the app is fine
  • The new updated app is awesome

    By Teknoxc
I don’t have to open the app to get audio passthrough and leave it on commute. There are other easy one button profiles as well. Then their is custom, I am not sure if custom has to be setup every time. It does have the EQ under custom and still think it needs to have different profiles for it depending on genre being used. So with that I take one star.
  • I want more functions!

    By JordanSonoda
I love my Jabra Elite 65t! sound quality is great and it’s reliable. I like that you can switch through modes like commute, relaxation, etc. However, I wish it was a little more ergonomic to change the modes. being able to change the modes via widget or force touch for example
  • Connection Issue

    By asifin
After the last update my Elite 65T does’nt connect automatically. Need to go through the whole process of pairing again and again everytime you use it. Please fix!!!
  • Buggy

    By shorenetworks
Happy to have hearthrough returned but keep on getting issues where the earbuds are connected but not playing audio at all. Also no audio through YouTube. Get the software stable before release please
  • App doesn’t complete install

    By Legend45
Tried installing twice, but each time the install circle doesn’t complete. I still can open the app, but the Hear Through function doesn’t work. I can tell no difference if it’s on or off or mix moving the slider left or right. I also can’t find any link to check the 65T for updates. Bass adjustment with the equalizer wasn’t great either. I don’t know if these problems are caused by the App not installing completely. I’m going to wait a month to see if things improve before I return them. For reference I have a iPhone X.
  • Good

When I first paired the Elites to my iPhone 6+, the app seem to loose functionality. After a bit of fiddling everything is working as advertised. I have found inserting the left ear pod first works best. The app will show if either pod is connected. Siri works as well as Siri can (Apple still needs work there). I don’t “bug” my hose with Alexa or Google, so even though support for those are coming, I’m sure some folk will be happy about that. Sound is pretty good for what the Elites are. The eq makes noticeable differences the hear through definitely works! However I’d actually like a music volume control within the app next to the adjustment for the hear through control, that’d be handy. There is a bit of latency between the pods I noticed during a call but not concerning, that’s a hardware issue. If you don’t have the pods inserted correctly your sound might be a little off balance, that’s a user learning curve. The most impressive part of this app is how slick the updating process is for the ear pods...very very easy and quick. Looking forward to being able to use either ear pod individually rather than being limited to just the right (that might be a hardware thing) I’ve been waiting a long time to upgrade to a dual wireless (I’ve been using the moto hint), and while the Elite 65t is a bit bulky compared to the moto hint, the Elite is definitely a great upgrade and this app is a welcome accessory adding enhancement to the Elite 65t! Gets a four star because there’s still a bit of feature tweaking to be done.
  • Good but would like some EQ presets

    By Nino63004
Overall the app is pretty good. Easy to navigate and use. Each section of options has very simple controls to make changes. Under the EQ section I would like to have had some options of presets. You do get the ability to make specific changes manually but would have like a few presets. I also like you get the battery indicator in the left corner and the indicator in the right corner showing what earbuds are connected. If you take one out it will show that one as disconnected. Looking forward to some updates to continue to improve the app.
