  • Garbage

Complete garbage, does not work, and does not cast to TV. Just works as a remote, so useless. Just a way for hotels to keep cheap TVs that don’t have Netflix built in.
  • “Free” but not really - close to useless

Using this app is the only way to have a tv program guide at Holiday Inn. Requires $.99 year purchase - not the amount that irritated but the hassle and lack of warning. Then the app loads painfully slow, has even less info about any program than my “broadcast” tv supplies through the airways, display scrolling to look at the next 1/2 hour or ability to look at a specific time is tedious. Wasted money unless you want to know the name of a program or show and you’re willing to scroll your time away
  • Does one small thing reasonably well and another very poorly

It's a remote for your hotel TV. The hotel has to be set up to use it, of course. It shows you which channels are available, and lets you choose one. Or change the volume. There's an optional guide which, at $1/year, you should probably get. However: it's frequently wrong. In fact, the guide is wrong at least as often as it's right. I believe the problem is time zones—they either don't know which one the hotel I'm at is in, or they don't know which feed the hotel is receiving, but either way: it's bad. It is, however, every so marginally better than nothing. Like, ⅓¢ per day better. Which is about what it costs. At the end of the day, though, the fewer times I have to handle the hotel remote, the better.
  • Dumbest app ever

    By kolt2120
This app is such a waste. All it does is basically make your phone a second remote for your hotel tv. If you want an actual guide of what exactly is on each channel you have to make a login and pay for it. Don’t waste your time.
  • Doesn’t work

    By Sad46
I’ve tried using this app in three different hotels, all different chains, and it hasn’t worked in any of them.
  • Works a lot better than hotel remotes

    By Cubemissy
I’m using this remote on my ipad. We all know how hard it is to use hotel room remotes. With the wear and tear they get, by the time you use it, the buttons aren’t responsive. Push up/down channel 5 times, and you maybe get a response once. This is a basic remote, with a caveat. If you use the guide, you pay a small amount. (Haven’t tried it myself; got that from other reviews.) This remote allows you to turn the tv on/off, see the available channels in a list, change channels when you select from that list, and set the volume. Pretty nifty. Instead of using the app’s guide, I use my cable provider’s app to see what’s on.
  • Scam

Meaningless if having a remote. They just want to charge you an easier way.
  • BS

Makes you download so that you can pay $35 to watch Netflix. What a waste of my time. Wish I could meet the designer in a dark alley and ....
  • Unauthorized charge...

    By MNCowboy1
So nothing in the app talking about a charge, and then three days later a charge appears saying I subscribed to this app… And customer support is nowhere to be found!
  • Misleading and Terrible

    By Shokdiesel
The app is a terrible interface and adds limited functionality. The travesty is they CHARGE YOU MONEY to use the app. The instructions are intentionally misleading. Beware. If you download quickly go to settings and ask for a refund. SHADY.
