  • Awesome reference app

    By SMBair
My experience with this app started in Japan, and had carried across the iPhone 5c,7, and now 8+, and has been my "gotta have" since first download. It helped me track the ISS, has given my bearings in Greenland when photographing Aurora's, and has been Rock solid no matter what iteration of iPhone I use. Highly recommend if your head's in the Stars.

  • Makes you feel so small 🌌

    By Arinmon
This app is seriously stunning and sets high standards for all other VR and astronomy apps- it’s breathtakingly beautiful and equipped with everything you need to start your journey across the stars- even if it’s only for a few minutes whenever the mood suits you. I love that I can alter the time and speed of the skies and how I can favorite stars and galaxies (and anything else) I want to come back to later. The reminders and notifications of events are also wonderful. The information provided for each star, planet, and radio/satellite is spectacular! It’s a gold mine of entertainment for children and it can fascinate other adults just as much. At first I was just pleased with just the graphics and the novelty, but after finding out about lunar libration I couldn’t help but spend an hour reading about it until I finally made sense of it all- I was so blown away. I don’t even know why- I just think it’s so amazing. When I saw the first galaxy in the sky I couldn’t even believe it was a galaxy- I thought it was a star- yet it was this amazing and stunning collection of life laid out in black, like a spiral of diamonds. Looking at it with this app made me feel so small- and I mean that in the best of ways. It gave me a sense of excitement for the unknown and instilled the once-lost wonder of knowing there’s so much more in existence than what’s here on earth. It really puts things in perspective. Simply amazing.

This is a very beautiful and very well made interactive map of the sky. It is nice to know more about constellations and a few I’ve never heard of. I like being able to track Satellites and being able to search for what I want to see. Just one thing I would like to be able to see is Sputnik 1 it would be nice to be able to track and see the first satellite. I would like to be able to track the satellite and see it trough my Telescope.
