  • 2 apps?! What???

    I downloaded the free and it gave me an option to upgrade. So I did for $5.99. Now I see that there is another app for $6.99? What the heck did I upgrade to then? One should be free and the other should be a fee whether it be $5.99 or $6.99. So now I have to pay about $13 for an app? That is BS!!!

    Thought it tracked also....just a collection of recipes I could find for free on the internet.... probably exactly like they did.... UPDATE: after receiving a “developer response”, I stand by what I said... and apparently others feel the same way. But I WILL take your advice.... I WILL read every detail from now on and probably simply avail your products.

    I downloaded this app, spent a good $15-$20 on a few recipe bundles and now the app is dead and does not open, BUT there is another app just like this one that is $6.99. Is this a glitch or a rip off?!?!

    Why are there different versions of the basic? I initially purchased for $1.99 and after looking around chose to “upgrade” for an additional $5.99 thinking that the upgrade would give me access to everything....until I got into the recipes and cannot view Keto Coffee recipe unless I “upgrade” AGAIN to be able to see “very low carb” recipes. I then go to the AppStore to see what the heck is going on and the full access app is only $6.99 but by the time all upgrades are done on my basic version I’ll have paid almost $9?! Well that has just turned me off this app. You should have two versions, a basic (I.E free or very low like .99) and the full version for something more affordable like $5.99. Why have multiple basic apps that cost anything at all?

    Really enjoying this app so far. Plenty of enjoyable recipes and blogs and advice. People complaining because there aren’t enough recipes simply aren’t being fair. I have used this app for 2 weeks now, cooking for one, combined with MyFitnessPal and I’m feeling great about both of them.

    I love that I can stay motivated by reading science based literature after I post my foods. Excellent quality readings, recipes are simple to follow and realistic. They are adding features like a bar code reader, I hope they add a place to add exercise too. ... I did immediately upgrade so I could track my foods, FYI. You might just want to buy the complete.

    First time I've ever reviewed an app mainly because I decided to move away from the free/$.99 apps and purchase an $8.99 app. With that price you'd expect this to have some pretty solid features. What a letdown this app was. Nearly all the info found on this app can easily be sourced on the internet with little effort. I was hoping the food tracker would be the saving grace... NOPE. Very limited functionality when compared to the mainstream free apps that are on the market. No scan feature to quickly add foods. Unless you are eating something from their recipe list you will likely need to add everything manually. Save your money and get a free calorie tracker, most will track carb intake along with the other main nutrient facts.
