  • Blocked numbers get through

    Well, it used to be a good app, until a blocked number got through on one of my lines. Frustrating to find out that the blockage disappeared and “SOMETHING WENT WRONG” keeps popping up when I try to reblock that number.

    Five dollars a month for a bad app that is long overdue for updating / improvement? Verizon is still acting like a monopoly. Get with the times.
  • If only it worked reliably

    Then I would give it 4 or 5 stars. Sadly, far more often than not, I try to check or change a setting and get the “something went wrong” message and am unable to do whatever it was that I needed to do. We’re talking error code 75% of the time or more. Happens everywhere, using Verizon data or wifi. App was free so i guess, thanks for nothing!
  • Not usable

    The family base app used to work well for me but when I upgraded it became essentially unusable. Every time I try to make changes to my child’s account, I get an error that say “Something went wrong”. In order to make changes, I have to go to the website using a browser and bypass the app
  • Never works

    I can never get this app to load. It constantly says “something went wrong, please try again.” What good is the app if I can NEVER use it? I hope changing your child’s device options/ limits isn’t an emergency because you won’t be able to change them.
  • Great idea. Frustrating app.

    While I think the idea behind this app is fantastic, the app constantly tells me “something went wrong” when I go in to make changes to my son’s time/data usage. And time restrictions keep getting added to his line that I didn’t place on there. So the times he’s actually allowed to use his phone, he can’t use it thanks to the mystery time restriction addition. I struggle with paying a monthly fee for something that has so many flaws. I’m beyond frustrated with this relatively useless app. Cancelling my subscription now and hoping that these “glitches” are taken care of sometime soon.
  • Waste of time

    This app seems to never work when I need it to. Location never works, when I try and adjust time restrictions, I always literally 99% of the time get a message that says, something went wrong, try again later. I’m literally at wits end this app. I’ve contacted Verizon customer service over this app and that took an hour and the customer service rep had to input my settings. After that, the app worked for about one day! Big surprise, obviously not! Don’t waste your time. Find another app like 360, they are awesome and Ibhave uses them before with NO issues!! The worst thing is I’m paying Verizon for this crappy service. NOT ANYMORE!!!!!
  • Should be a free service, but it’s well done

    I use the service exclusively for limiting my kids data. I left the “unlimited plan” bc my privileged kids were using so much data that it pushed me to turtle speed... because that’s what the unlimited plan does once you’ve hit a certain level of usage. So I do the XL data plan and set limits to their data with the family acct feature ($6 a month). It comes out cheaper for me, but it’s silly that I have to pay for the ability to limit my kids data. I have a crazy cell phone bill as it is with 3 teens plus me... Surely Verizon is making enough $ from me to justify not charging me to limit my kids.

    This is a great concept, but many of the functions do not work. I’ve set time limits on my children’s phones that never go into effect. I’ve restarted and repaired their phones and nothing changes. I keep their phones in my room at night and I can hear text message notifications throughout the night. The text and call logs are inaccurate, which makes it difficult to monitor my children’s activity. The information is just not reliable. It would also be nice to see the name of the contacts added to their phones, so I know who they are talking to. I am currently in the middle of a free 30-day trial and I can say with certainty that I do not plan on paying $9.99 monthly for the app when it doesn’t work properly. I hope in the future it works better, as it is a useful tool for parents to have. Keep trying Verizon.
  • Waste if your kid has a galaxy

    First I tried the one with gps. It's so inaccurate. The other part I disabled everything especially Snapchat. Well apparently the galaxy has a recent app button and if the access Snapchat from that it works. It didn't block the app or wifi like it was suppose to. She shouldn't have been able to do anything but call and text me but she found loopholes pretty quick.
